“It’s just a piece of jewelry”. Wrong – it’s a story. In a lot of cases, the charm of a jewelry doesn’t lie in the money that was put into it – but where it is coming from; and when coming from someone special, a simple piece of jewelry becomes extremely valuable and close to one’s heart. And I was lucky to have found Sergio custom redesign and have him help me with my Granny’s ring redesigning. I distinctly askedhim to maintain the same heritage look whilst modernizing it so that I could wear it and look gorgeous every day, and so hecomplied.

Rubellite Tourmaline

The birthstone for October is the tourmaline that comes in a variety of exciting colors. In fact, tourmaline has one of the widest color ranges of any gem species and can be substituted for better known, more valuable gems at affordable prices. In particular, the red and pink tourmalines, known as rubellite, have the same colour range as ruby and pink sapphires. Strongly saturated rubellites are the rarest. Although it symbolizes hope, the colour of this gemstone is pure seduction. Its components are red, shocking pink and violet- the typical colour realm of desire and ‘joie de vivre’.
Fortunately, nature has created the rubellite in many colour nuances, so that every woman can select the right rubellite for her type.

Sapphire

The birthstone for September is the lovely blue sapphire. The gem symbolizes nobility, truth, sincerity, peace and faithfulness. Blue sapphire is one of the most popular colored stones, especially in the US. For centuries, sapphire has been associated with royalty and romance. The association was reinforced in 1981, when Britain’s Prince Charles gave a blue sapphire engagement ring to Lady Diana Spencer. Her sapphire ring helped link modern events with history and fairy tales.
